Belswan Villages have some wonderful caring residents. Denise, who also writes the Bugle village newsletter, did some research with Mr Google and worked out how to make lovely cotton, completely washable, double-sided masks for our villagers. They take about an hour to make and she has distributed over 30 so far. They are without charge but she has received some very kind donations, a definite incentive to continue sewing. However Ray, a fellow resident with a great sense of humour, wanted 6 of them and prompted her with a large pack of Toberlerone, a particular favourite, and followed up with a large pack of toilet rolls. This is what appeals to Denise about her village, the humour and good nature of all her neighbours.

As she says “Together we will get through this time and come out better and stronger than ever”.
