Belswan Pinjarra held their inaugural High Tea on the afternoon of Friday 13th April 2012. 15 residents, all dress to the nines, attended the luxurious function.
Upon arrival, the guests were greeted in the foyer by one of the five charming “down stairs maids”, who politely ushered them to their seats.
Dressed in their finery, the 13 Ladies and 2 Gentleman savoured a variety of teas and a large assortment of tasty mortals.
Verses of prose about Tea were recited by Erica Mummery, much to the enjoyment of all.
Three prizes were awarded on the day. Best dressed lady was won by J Vaughan and the 2 Gentleman received “bravery” awards.
The day was a resounding success, with many asking when the next High Tea would be held.
